Position
A starting point to appreciate the territory that surrounds us, typical of the Po Valley. A great location for sampling the cities, the art, food and wines and to observe natureon footor on a bicycle.
Not just Venice
Not just Venice with Piazza San Marco, but also Padua with the Scrovegni Chapel, a UNESCO heritage site; and Treviso, a city of art, all reachable in half an hour’s drive. Also the Brenta Riviera, a short bicycle ride away, and its Palladian villas, which include Villa Pisani in Stra and Villa Malcontenta in the town of the same name.

Our municipality
The territory of Mirano, enclosed in an area between Padua, Venice and Treviso, is rich in parks and villas which were built by Venetian nobility between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Home of the painters Giambattista and Giandomenico Tiepolo. The surrounding countryside is characterised, to a large extent, by the presence of the Roman era“grill” system – land partitioned into lots, for soldiers and Roman citizens
Let’s move a little
Other places to visit nearby include the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO heritage site, the Euganean Hills and their spas, or, for those who want to travel a few kilometres more, Carlo Scarpa’s Brion Mausoleum in Altivole, near the beautiful town of Asolo, and the Canova Gypsoteca in Possagno, less well-known but unmissable.
