TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING

Technical navigation features

Navigation data
The information systems and software procedures used for the operation of this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.

This category of data includes, by way of example but not limited to, IP addresses or domain names of the computers and terminals used by users, URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numeric code indicating the server response status (success, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the operating system and the user’s IT environment.

Such data, necessary for the provision of web services, is also processed for the purpose of:

  • obtaining statistical information about the use of services (most visited pages, number of visitors per time frame or daily, geographical areas of origin, etc.);
  • checking the correct functioning of the services provided.

The navigation data does not persist for longer than strictly necessary and is deleted immediately after aggregation (unless there are any needs to ascertain crimes by the judicial authority).

Data provided by the user
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses of the Data Controller, as well as the completion and submission of the forms on the site, entails the acquisition of the sender’s contact data, necessary to respond, as well as all personal data included in the communications.

Specific information will be published on the pages of the Data Controller’s websites prepared for the provision of specific services.

Cookies and other tracking tools
This website uses cookies, aimed at ensuring the proper use of the website content.

The site makes use of technical and session cookies (non-persistent) strictly limited to what is necessary for the safe and efficient navigation of the site. The storage of session cookies in the devices or browsers is under the control of the user, while on the servers, at the end of the HTTP sessions, cookie-related information remains logged with retention times strictly necessary for correct functioning.

Banner operation

The privacy management banner activated on this site does not allow any profiling cookies to be activated before the user has given their consent. If the user clicks the consent button, all profiling cookies will be activated. If the user decides to click the customize button, they will be able to customize their choices and decide which profiling cookies to activate. If the user clicks the reject button or the X in the top right corner of the banner, no profiling cookies will be activated.

The user’s choices will be stored for six months through a technical cookie that will be installed on the device used by the user to access the site. It is important to explain that if the user changes devices, for example, from a computer to a mobile phone, the choices will not be available on the new device for technical reasons and must therefore be selected again on the new device.

The user’s choices can be changed at any time by accessing the privacy control panel from the privacy control icon. The new configuration will last for six months.

The site also uses third-party profiling cookies, as further specified below.

LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING

The personal data indicated on this page is processed by the Data Controller in the execution of the services provided by the site and, subsequently, if required by the site itself, by contractual or legal obligations.

In case there are specific sections for subscribing to newsletters or marketing services, they will be managed by specific information.

VOLUNTARINESS OF PROVIDING DATA

As provided by the provision of June 10, 2021 “Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools”, the user of the site is free to authorize or not authorize the profiling cookies according to their free choice and will. In some cases, such as the Google reCaptcha cookie, blocking this profiling cookie prevents the submission of the request through data acquisition forms. If necessary, the cookie can be re-enabled from the privacy preferences, or alternatively, if the user decides to keep the cookies blocked, the request can be sent by email.

Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide the personal data indicated in the request forms present on the sites or otherwise indicated in contacts with the structures to request the newsletter, informational material, or other communications.

Failure to provide such data may prevent obtaining the requested services.

LEGITIMATE INTEREST

The data controller does not rely on legitimate interest for the processing of personal data except for the protection of its own rights.

PROCESSING METHODS

Personal data is processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.

Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.

RECIPIENTS OF DATA

The recipients of the data collected following the consultation of the above-mentioned sites are the following subjects designated by the Data Controller, pursuant to Article 28 of the Regulation, as data processors. The complete list of processors is available at the Data Controller’s office and can be requested via email.

Personal data collected is also processed by staff assigned to the processing, who act based on specific instructions provided regarding the purposes and methods of the processing.

TRANSFER OF DATA

The data will be transferred only within the EU.
Some applications such as Google Analytics and reCaptcha may involve transfers outside the EU.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

The retention period for user cookie choices is six months as required by the provision.

The retention period of cookies changes depending on their type. For third-party profiling cookies, the specific policies can be consulted directly on the respective sites.

Personal data processed for contact or economic purposes will be processed for the legally required time periods.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 15 EU 2016/679
